The Orange County Re-Entry Partnership will serve as a critical link between community
resource providers and the formerly incarcerated striving to re-establish healthy,
productive and rewarding lives.

The Lights On Program is a collaborative ministry that has been in existence since 2004. The program’s sole purpose is to minister to the men and women in our O.C. jails by providing immediate assistance to them at the time of release. The concept was derived when all collaborating partners met together in the early stages of the program’s development and discussed the importance of having a way to attend to the inmates’ needs right as they walked out the jail doors; some way of providing assistance, comfort, and a safe refuge. Now, over 7 years later, the Lights On program is a huge success and helps hundreds of inmates every month by providing items like warm clothing, coffee, bus passes, snacks, and resources for employment and housing out of their RV trailer that is parked across the street from the Central Jail Complex every night from 10pm – 3am. The Lights On program operations and RV is owned and funded by the St. Vincent de Paul Society. The Catholic Office or Restorative Justice Diocese of Orange is one of the volunteer collaborative partners that endorses and helps support the program through their promotional networks and volunteer resources.
